Well, my first ever journal on here - and all because I'm extatic that after over a year I've got all my old data back off my laptop. FUCK YES!!!! I got a SATA adapter and plugged the old hardrive in and 'hey presto' there are all my files good as new! My pictures, photos, music, documents, games. Everything. I knew my patience would pay off, that Dell technician had no clue what he was talking about. I'll be sending my laptop off for a new one, but rest assured Dell is off my radar from now onwards.
